Thanks! 00:54:53 Bonnie Stahla: We do maker Fridays at our library and invite all ages, so we can get some parent involvement. We hardly ever get parents/grandparents or caregivers to attend. 00:55:21 Anna-Marie Farquhar: I have had a programs aimed at school age kids and had toddlers show up. Coloring pages and soft blocks work in a pinch but adding a craft or art aspect can also work. 00:55:28 Kim Daufeldt: for us it mostly happens when younger kids come (siblings or people who didn't know the age limit) We just encourage them to listen but not do the activity if they are unable. 00:55:29 Kim Englert: We have a STEM program for first thru fifth grades and have preschoolers show up. Even when we have registration where parents have to put in ages. We just explain that the program is for older children 00:55:30 Violeta Aybar-Maki: Yes, our NJ Makers day programs attract all ages. 00:55:39 Bonnie Stahla: Sundance, WY 00:55:44 Sylvie Merlier-Rowen: Yes. I'm always prepared for this kind of scenario. So, I have books of interest to various reading levels. I always manage to scale down or scale up the cativity that was planned. 00:56:07 Jess Hepker: During a Tree ID and Field guide program, two 4/6 year olds were part of our group of adults. The program switched focus from How to use Field guides, into how to keep the kids excited about the content. It was actually very nice to see the adults in the group have fun with this. 00:57:57 Kim Englert: We had a bird program for the children and adults took over the program and wouldn't let the kids close enough to see the birds 00:58:18 Pam Brown: we partnered with gilder-Lehrman for a founding era puppet show on the ride of Paul Revere as told by his horse for ages3-6 and we wound up having about 8 teenagers so i did an imprmptu Hamilton based rap song contest for them .... 01:02:41 Jenny Shonk: Consistency is key! 01:05:31 Pam Brown: geologist 01:06:32 Pam Brown: magma 01:09:13 Rebecca Spielbauer: cool 01:13:30 Claire Ratcliffe: http://www.starnetlibraries.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Beg-Borrow-Steal-LinkBank.pdf 01:27:51 Keliann LaConte: Nice!
