Will you be at the 2016 ARSL Conference in Fargo, ND? If so, join Anne and Keliann for a two-part session for some hands-on experience with free STAR_Net resources for your library:

    FRIDAY, OCTOBER 28

Part 1 – Active STEM Programs on a Shoestring Budget
1:45 pm-2:45 pm (tentatively scheduled time as of July 11)
Experience tested STAR Library Education Network (STAR_Net) hands-on activities that you can use immediately, and receive step-by-step instructions on how to implement these activities in support of summer reading programs and for a solar eclipse in 2017. Join STAR_Net’s online community and access STEM resources and webinars (available for free).

Part 2 – Active STEM Programs on a Shoestring Budget
3:15pm-4:15pm (tentatively scheduled time as of July 11)
Libraries across the country are rapidly adapting to new educational roles in their communities. Learn how the STAR Library Education Network can help you print (free!) mini‐exhibits, design your own “Discovery Tables” and even create a rotating display! This session is great for libraries with limited staff and budget, who still want to have a little fun!

We’d love to see you there! Please let us know if you plan on attending.
